This update resolves the "Scriptlet Rendering" and "Frame Domain Verification" security vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer. Download now to prevent malicious web site operators from reading your files when you visit their sites. These vulnerabilities do not give a malicious user the ability to add, change, or delete files on your computer.

This update resolves the "Persistent Mail Browser Link," "Cache Bypass," and "Malformed E-mail Header" security vulnerabilities in Outlook Express. Download now to prevent a malicious user from reading e-mails and files on your computer, or using your computer to send damaging e-mails to others. These vulnerabilities do not give a malicious user the ability to add, change, or delete files on your computer.

For computers running Windows 2000 only. If you downloaded Internet Explorer 5.01 Service Pack 1 (SP1) from the Web between Thursday, July 6, 2000 and Tuesday, July 11, 2000, Microsoft recommends that you install this update today. The original offering of Internet Explorer 5.01 SP1 contains a known issue that causes Office® 2000 to display an error message when attempting to access Office Help. This update allows Office Help to be accessed without error.

This update resolves the "Active Setup Download" security vulnerability in an ActiveX control that ships as part of Internet Explorer. Download now to prevent a malicious Web site operator from overwriting files on your computer.

This release of the Microsoft VM (build 3193) primarily addresses security vulnerabilities and is described in the Microsoft Security Bulletin MS00-011.

This Year 2000 update addresses the issue which may occur when receiving an IMAP mail message or a News message with a 2-digit year as the sent date. It is recommended that you download and install this Year 2000 update.

Internet Explorer 5.01 SP1 can be installed as an upgrade to existing versions of Internet Explorer, or on computers with no previous Internet Explorer installation. Note If you are running Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT® 4.0, installing Internet Explorer 5.01 SP1 will upgrade your computer to 128-bit encryption. If you are running Windows 2000, installing Internet Explorer 5.01 SP1 will not change the current level of encryption on your computer.

The Internet Explorer High Encryption Pack gives you 128-bit encryption, the highest level of protection possible whenever you use credit cards or make other financial or confidential transactions over the Internet. This site offers upgrades to your existing browser or an entirely new browser if you want. If you are running Windows 2000 and wish to upgrade to 128-bit encryption, you must download the Windows 2000 High Encryption Pack, do not install the Internet Explorer High Encryption Pack on a Windows 2000 computer. Note The Microsoft Internet Explorer High Encryption Pack is eligible for export from the U.S. to all customers worldwide, except to U.S. embargoed destinations.

This high encryption pack lets you update your installed Windows 2000 with the highest available encryption level. You cannot remove 128-bit encryption after you complete the conversion process. You must be an administrator to install the High Encryption Pack on your computer. This package provides support to display Johnson-Grace compressed images, or .ART files, most commonly used by America Online. If you are an America Online user running Windows 2000, this is a required upgrade.
