Added Security: 128-bit Versions of Internet Explorer are used to provide extra security for online transactions, and are only available to customers living in the United States or Canada. If you already have 128-bit encryption, it remains intact when you install a browser upgrade.
International users: To get the most from Internet Explorer 4.0, be sure to load the appropriate language version that matches your operating system. Running unmatched versions may limit your ability to use some features such as the Windows Desktop Update.
Anti-Virus Software Users: Please note that some anti-virus software programs may interfere with the download and should be disabled while installing Internet Explorer.
