How to download and install
- Click Download Now.
- Choose Run this program from its current location and click OK.
- Click Yes if asked whether you would like to install and run Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 Advanced Security Privacy Beta.
- Accept the License Agreement and click Next to begin the installation process.

Download Internet Explorer 5.5 Advanced Security Privacy Beta to manage cookies
and maintain a higher degree of security and privacy than you ever have before.

you do NOT download this software. If you choose to install this software,
Microsoft recommends that you install it in a test environment and not on a
primary computer or operating system.
System Requirements
To run Internet Explorer 5.5 Advanced Security Privacy Beta, your computer must meet the following minimum requirements:
- A 486 with a 66 megahertz (MHz) processor (Pentium processor recommended)
- For Windows 95 or Windows 98: 16 megabytes (MB) of random access memory (RAM) minimum
- For Windows NT 4.0: 32 MB of RAM minimum, and you must be running Service Pack 3 or higher
- For Windows 2000: 64 MB of RAM minimum
- Mouse
- Modem or Internet connection

How to use
Please restart your computer to complete the installation.
Once installed, the Internet Explorer 5.5 Advanced Security Privacy Beta will prompt you when a Web site is placing a cookie on your computer. You may choose to accept or decline these cookies by selecting the appropriate button in the dialog prompt.
How to uninstall
To uninstall Internet Explorer 5.5 Advanced Security Privacy Beta:
- Make sure Internet Explorer is not running.
- Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Select Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5.
- Click Add/Remove.
Uninstalling Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 will remove the Advanced Security Privacy Beta. Once you've uninstalled Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5, you will roll back to your previous browser version. You can then re-install Internet Explorer 5.5 to return to your previous configuration.
